New laundry service to be launched
for Pullman Court residents

Pullman Court will open a dedicated laundry service in the next few weeks. Residents will be able to bring their washing (or drying) to the new laundry facility located on the ground floor of the back block. You will be able to drop off your laundry at specific times, and have it washed and dried by a dedicated member of staff, who will also offer an ironing service. Pricing for the various
services are yet to be finalised, but they will be competitive with local companies in Streatham – with the added bonus that you will be able to have your clothes laundered on site, without leaving the estate. This will be a laundry service, not a self-service laundrette.If there is suitable demand, the facility may be expanded to include a drop-off and collect dry cleaning service, and possibly even collection and delivery from flats.The laundry service – which echoes the kinds of facilities available when Pullman Court was built in 1936 – is being launched as a service for residents, and a way to avoid the build up of condensation in flats from clothes being dried indoors as we approach the winter months.
